Footfall Tally records passing footfall, direction, audience fit, and venue visits in repeatable field-counting rounds.

Quick start

  1. Choose Passing footfall or Venue visits on the home screen.
  2. Enter a survey name or explicitly request a location-based suggestion.
  3. Choose what to count and start the round.
  4. Assign each person to one best-matching button.
  5. A round defaults to 15 minutes. You can pause, undo, or finish early.
  6. Continue another round from the summary to compare the same place over time.

Frequently asked questions

Why can I tap only one category per person?

The buttons are mutually exclusive categories. Their totals can be added without counting the same person twice.

Can I use the app without location access?

Yes. Location is used only to suggest an editable survey name. Manual naming is always available.

How many rounds are free?

You can complete two survey rounds for free. Full Access appears before a third round can begin.

Is Full Access a subscription?

No. It is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently unlocks unlimited surveys.

How do I restore my purchase on another device?

Open Full Access, tap Restore Purchase, and make sure the device uses the Apple Account that made the purchase. Survey records are stored locally and are not restored with the purchase.

Can I recover records after uninstalling the app?

Not reliably. The current version has no account or cloud sync. Survey records are stored on the device.
