Footfall Tally Privacy Policy

Data we do not collect

Footfall Tally does not require an account and does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Survey records are not sent to a developer-operated server. The developer does not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

Data stored on your device

The app stores survey names and counting modes, categorized counts and tap timestamps, survey rounds and start/end times, date tags and notes, an optional place name and location snapshot, and Full Access purchase entitlement on the current device.

This information restores active work, displays local history, and calculates summaries. You can delete a round or an entire survey. Uninstalling removes local data. The app does not currently offer cloud sync, so removed data may not be recoverable.

Location permission

Location is optional. The app requests When In Use access only after you tap “Name from current location.” It uses the current location to suggest an editable survey name. You can deny access and type a name manually without affecting counting or purchases.

In-app purchases

Full Access purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not receive your card number or payment credentials. The app reads product information and entitlement status supplied by Apple to display pricing, unlock features, and restore purchases.

Children’s privacy

Footfall Tally is intended for field research and operations work and is not designed specifically for children. The app does not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

Changes and contact
